Description:

The 6N2P, (Russian: 6Н2П), also sometimes spelled in English “6H2Pi”, is a miniature 9-pin dual triode  manufactured in USSR, Russia & China with characteristics similar to the RCA 12AX7, but NOT an exchangeable equivalent . An improved and more rugged version of the 6N2′ was introduced in the 70’s, designated 6N2P-EV (Russian: 6Н2П-ЕВ).

1.Premium:

A ruggedized 6N2P called 6N2P-ev by former Voskhod Factory, Russia c.1980s. Infamous ‘Voskhod Rockets’ made to Military Specification. Include nickel plated pins for good conductivity and gold grid for improved sound. Life expectancy 5000hrs. A well made vacuum tube which will deliver excellent results and reliability.

3.Elite:

A rare Vintage 6N2P-ev Voskhod Rocket by Former Voskhod Plant, Russia c.1969- 74. An outstanding vacuum tube built to military specification and nickel plated pins for improved conductivity. Contains large amounts of rare earth metals such as Caesium and Gold, now too expensive and scarce to employ in modern tubes. Such rare earth metals improve both odd and even harmonics and improve any 6N2P application. Sold strictly subject to available stocks. Life expectancy 5000hrs.

3.Super- Elite:

A rare 6N2P variant from the 1960s known as 6N2P-v by Former Voskhod/Reflektor Plants, Russia c.1966. An outstanding vacuum tube built to military specification and nickel plated pins for improved conductivity. Contain rare earth metals e.g. Caesium and Gold. These precious metals are now too expensive and scarce to employ in modern tubes. Rare earth metals enhance both odd and even harmonics therefore improving all 6N2P applications. Sold strictly subject to availability. Life expectancy 5000hrs.
